On January 19–20, 2026, Dr. Itami (PRI) delivered an oral presentation at the 10th RIKEN Life Science Retreat, held in Numazu, Shizuoka, Japan.

His talk, entitled “Toward Molecular Nanocarbon Biology,” presented recent advances and future perspectives in life science research based on molecular nanocarbon chemistry, followed by active discussions with participants.
