We have developed a highly effective method for solubilizing and transforming polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) by introducing a highly soluble sulfonium group. Our synthesized “perylene sulfonium salt” was also found to localize in the mitochondria of animal cells. For more details, please refer to the press release.
